BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HINDI
The Department of Hindi was established in the year 1968 vide GOMS No 1514 Edn Dt 01/08/1986 with the sanction of the post of Lecturer.
Sri P.Sriram Murty was posted. He retired in 1979 A second post was sanctioned vide GOMS No 13 Dt 02/01/1970.
Smt G.BHAGYALAKSHMI was posted in the vacancy She was transferred in 1981.
Sri M.HANUMANTA RAO worked from 1979 to 1986.
Sri CHINTA DAS in Zonal Transfer worked 1986 He expired on 10-06-1996.
Smt BHAGYALAKSHMI Worked form 10-06-1995 until she retired on 31/12/2001 with the bifurcation of intermediate in 1996 one post was transferred to Govt Jr College, Vizag vide GOMS No 177 Edn Dt 12/08/1996
Sri.G.SANYASIRAO on Promotion from the Cadre of Jr. Lecturer Joined on 28/08/1902
Sri CH.SATYANARYANA on promotion form the cadre of Jr. Lecturer and join as Lecturer.
Sri L.JANARADHAN RAO on Transfer from Govt.Degree college from women Srikakulam and join year on 22-07-2009.
Dr. S. SURYAVATHI worked from 23-07-2017 to 20-07-2023.
Dr. B.Laxmi join on 21/7/2023 to Till Date.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES
Hindi is the NATIONAL LANGUAGE. The immerse literature, Beauty of poetry and other aspects to highlighted National Integration is to be spread through the promotion of language of Hindi.
The objective of the department is not merely covering the syllabus but to inculcate in them the habit of pursuit of knowledge, observation and critics.
VISION
The hidden talent of speaking and writing is to be brought out. A feeling that is a part to promote national Integration is to be induced in the students.
Academic matters:
This college is a govt. college, affiliated to Andhra University. The board of studies, Hindi, prepares the syllabus. The lecturer in-charge of the department has the freedom to frame the department timetable within the framework of the general timetable.
As this is a single teacher department, the academic plan work distribution etc., are prepared by the lecturer as per the academic calendar of the university and the general timetable of the college.
Administrative matters:
The distribution of the work, planning and coordination of different activities are carried under the guidance of the principal.
Financial matters:
Limited autonomy. The departmental requirements such as Teaching Diaries, Teaching Notes, Files, dusters, pieces of chalk etc. are provided by the principal from the stationary funds. List of text books, reference books required are submitted to the principal.
