The Office of the Controller of Examinations was established in accordance to the UGC Regulations for Autonomous Institutions in the year 2014 after the college was conferred the autonomy status. The institution is affiliated to the Andhra University and adheres to the norms prescribed by the University relating to Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), the computation of Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA), Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), and the ten point Grading Scale. The CBCS was adopted in 2014 since autonomy. The 'autonomous' status grants the institution a considerable degree of flexibility with regard to the introduction of new courses, Value added courses, Diploma courses, revision of existing courses through enrichment of the curriculum, methodology of evaluation which are exercised after being approved by the Board of Studies and the Academic Council.
