NSS… National Service Scheme is an  Extension Activitivity  framed  under the guidelines of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The NSS Activities of DrV.S.KrishnaGovt Degree College is under tye able guidance of NSS Cell Andhra University,Visakhapatnam has been  started with 3 units in the beginning of College establishment and later 4th unit is alloted by the University .

        At present 4 units are present in the college and the Program officers of the units are

Each unit has 120 to 140 nss volunteers enrolled per annum and all the nss activities such as Plantation..Observation of National important days…Blood donation…Community service like village surveys…Swatch Bharath…Conducting Rallys on Anti ganja..Drug Abuse…Youth festival and many govtsuggested programmes every year.

In addition to regular NSS Activities  special camps and Mega camps also organized by the Program officers as per the instructions of the program coordinator of NSS Cell/ Andhra University.
